In CPS, the Peer Leaders and CPS Advisors will guide you as we:

• Start looking at careers & majors!
  
• Start searching for colleges and make a list of 10-15 that catch your eye
  
• Check if the schools you are interested in require the SAT or the ACT, study, and sign-up to take the exam (UCs are no longer requiring them - see the pros and cons of taking these standardized tests) - fee waivers may be available if you apply!
• If you want to get ahead, start working on rough drafts of your Personal Inquiry Statements (PIQs) if you are thinking of applying to UCs
• See more tips to get ready - applications are not open until the beginning of August and are due November 30th
  
  All seniors will complete applications and the FAFSA/CADAA in CPS in the fall with the Peer Leaders help and at the ArTES Financial Aid Night on December 5th
